Ingredients for making the Peshawari Chapli Kebab Recipe:

  • 500g minced meat (beef or lamb)
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds (anardana)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons gram flour (besan)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  •  Cooking oil for frying

Instructions for Peshawari Chapli Kebab:

Step 1:

 In a large mixing bowl, combine minced meat, finely chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, fresh coriander, pomegranate seeds, egg, gram flour, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt.

Step 2:

 Use your hands to mix the ingredients thoroughly, ensuring an even distribution of spices and flavors.

Step 3:

Take a portion of the mixture and shape it into a flat, round patty. Repeat until all the mixture is used.

Step 4:

  Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Make sure the oil is hot but not smoking.

Step 5:

 Carefully place the shaped kebabs in the hot oil. Cook until the kebabs are golden brown on one side before flipping.

Step 6:

 Fry the kebabs until they are golden brown and cooked through on both sides. This usually takes about 4-5 minutes per side.

Step 7:

 Place the cooked kebabs on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. And you have made it!
